The Swastika-the most misunderstood symbol of all time

The swastika is an ancient symbol that is found all over the world in ancient traditions. It’s true origin is lost to antiquity, but it is found in many Eastern religions. The word Swastika is derived from Vedic Sanskrit and essentially means “good health or good fortune”. It often thought of as representing the universe, the sun, or the four elements, or four seasons. It wasn’t until the Nazi party adopted this symbol and perverted it that it came to be known as it is today.  It was never meant to be an evil symbol and was looked at as a sacred symbol in the ancient world. In this short video, the swastika is looked at for it’s origins rather than it’s sinister association.
